Focus on continuous improvement and compliance with standards **JOB SUMMARY (BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION):** Responsible for performing installation, corrective, and preventive maintenance activities on electronic, laboratory, and medical equipment, ensuring full functionality, operational reliability, and compliance with technical and biosafety standards. Also provides technical support to customers, conducts basic user training on equipment operation and care, and supports continuous improvement projects for processes and equipment. **RESPONSIBILITIES** · Perform diagnostics, repairs, adjustments, and calibrations on electronic and in vitro diagnostic equipment. · Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on laboratory, medical, and general electronic equipment. · Conduct installations, commissioning, and functional testing of new equipment onsite or in the laboratory. · Prepare technical reports, inspection documents, and maintenance records in the system, ensuring traceability and documentary compliance. · Support the development and standardization of technical and operational procedures. · Provide technical support and deliver basic training to customers and users regarding equipment operation and care. · Identify complex failures and propose feasible technical solutions, focusing on reducing downtime and maintenance costs. · Ensure compliance with quality, safety, biosafety, and good maintenance practices. · Collaborate on validations and implementation of product and process improvements. **REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:** **Education:** * Completed technical education in Electronics, Electrotechnics, Mechatronics, or related fields. * Technological bachelor’s degree in related fields is desirable. * Proven experience in maintenance and repair of electronic equipment. * Experience in hospital or laboratory equipment maintenance will be considered an advantage. **Specific Knowledge (Technical Competencies):** · Applied electronics and electronic circuits. · Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals (preferably in English). · Knowledge of electronic measurement and testing instruments. · Familiarity with automation and embedded systems (desirable). · Intermediate technical English for reading manuals. **Skills:** · Proactivity and analytical ability. · Organization and attention to detail. · Clear communication and strong interpersonal skills. · Sense of urgency and results orientation. · Teamwork and collaboration.
