Job Summary:
Responsible for receiving, inspecting, and recording materials; managing OPME and Hemodynamics inventory; and assisting in surgical procedures.

We currently have an opening for an OPME Assistant position, with working hours from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM Monday through Saturday, and from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Sunday.
Responsibilities include:
Receiving all items—whether consigned or purchased—by cross-checking against purchase orders and invoices;
Entering consigned, purchased, or service invoices into the hospital management system, as well as recording donations if applicable;
Charging used materials to patient accounts via the hospital management system;
Assisting in inventory control of all consigned and stockable OPME and Hemodynamics products, including monitoring item expiry dates;
Scheduling, receiving, and verifying pre-surgical materials;
Verifying OPME material kits at the start and end of surgeries, together with the operating room consumption note;
Requesting pre- and post-surgical quotations from suppliers;
Ordering all materials required to replenish inventory, as well as scheduling consigned materials for upcoming surgeries;
Cleaning all cabinets and shelves in the department according to the cleaning schedule;
Assisting in the monthly inventory count with OPME suppliers to verify and control consigned material inventory;
