If you aspire to drive transformation and believe you can add value to challenges involving social and environmental responsibility, Engemon is the ideal place for you! **Your responsibilities will include:** Ensuring environmental compliance throughout all phases of the Water Treatment Plant Expansion Project, guaranteeing adherence to legal and regulatory standards as well as client requirements. You will be involved in planning, executing, and monitoring environmental practices, promoting impact prevention and proper management of waste and effluents. Your main responsibilities will be: * Develop and implement the project’s Environmental Management Plan, aligned with ABNT, CONAMA, COPAM 08/2022, and other applicable legislation. * Identify environmental aspects and impacts related to mobilization, installation, and demobilization activities. * Ensure appropriate disposal of wastewater, solid waste, and effluents, issuing destination certificates. * Coordinate waste segregation and storage in accordance with ABNT NBR 13463 and CONAMA Resolution 275/2001, including selective collection and disposal scheduling. * Monitor and control atmospheric emissions (opacity testing for diesel vehicles – ABNT NBR 7027\). * Supervise safe chemical storage, ensuring compliance with ABNT NBR 17160 and NBR 17505, as well as management of Safety Data Sheets (SDS). * Guarantee availability and control of potable water, supported by potability test reports. * Implement environmental mitigation kits (ABNT NBR 9735\) and contingency plans for environmental incidents. * Conduct environmental campaigns and training for operational teams, including practices of conscious consumption and impact prevention. * Prepare and present monthly environmental KPI reports and performance indicators (IDA), as required by the client. * Conduct weekly environmental inspections at the construction site and support monthly regulatory audits. * Support the engineering team in critical analysis of projects to ensure environmentally appropriate solutions. * Ensure compliance with environmental licensing requirements, water use permits, and the client’s internal standards. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Technical or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, or related fields; * Familiarity with ABNT standards, ISO 14001, COPAM, CONAMA, and applicable environmental legislation; * Experience in waste and effluent management, and emission control; * Ability to prepare technical reports and environmental indicators; * Experience in industrial or infrastructure projects in the mining sector is desirable; * Knowledge of integrated management tools and sustainability indicators. **Why work at Engemon?** Working at Engemon means joining a company with a rich history, tackling a diverse range of stimulating projects, accessing personal development opportunities, being part of an organizational culture that values collaboration, health, and well-being, and contributing to projects generating positive impacts.
