Visit our website for further information about our history, values, and social commitments: https://www.nestle.com **Position Summary** **Location:** NBS \- Ribeirão Preto **Area/Stream:** DOS \- Data Operations Services **Reporting To:** Data Analytics Manager **Shift:** Business Hours **Work Mode:** Hybrid or Remote **Is there an internal candidate identified?** No **A Day in the Life of...** * Monitoring cost/usage (Azure/Databricks/Capacity), identifying "top offenders" and prioritizing opportunities based on baseline, impact, and dependencies; * Orchestrating and tracking quick wins/savings with Data Engineering (cluster policies and sizing, auto\-termination, Photon), ensuring monitoring and elimination of idle resources; Tracking migrations/modernizations impacting cost and performance (e.g., AAS* Fabric/Capacity), supporting impact analysis, validations, and optimization recommendations alongside responsible teams; * Ensuring governance and capturing savings (before/after evidence, tagging/ownership, post\-action monitoring), without compromising SLAs or quality; * Participating in team rituals and aligning with FinOps/Finance and stakeholders for prioritization, impact communication, and backlog planning. **Required Qualifications:** * Completed undergraduate degree in Engineering or Computer Science, Technology or Information Systems, Administration, Economics, Engineering, Applied Mathematics for Business, or related fields; * Advanced English and/or Spanish (mandatory); * Solid experience with cloud-based data and analytics platforms, with emphasis on cost efficiency (FinOps), observability, and governance—identifying/prioritizing opportunities and tracking implementations in collaboration with Data Engineering and other technical teams; * Proficiency in Azure and data services (e.g., Storage/ADLS, Azure SQL, Data Factory), and ability to diagnose consumption/cost per resource, workload, and product; * Databricks: all\-purpose vs. job clusters, Jobs/Workflows, cluster policies, pools, autoscaling, Photon, Unity Catalog, performance tuning, and troubleshooting; * Programming and data: Advanced Python and SQL (query optimization, partitioning, columnar formats such as Delta, handling small files, VACUUM/OPTIMIZE, and engineering best practices); Power BI / Fabric (preferred): Capacity concepts, migration/modernization of tabular models (AAS* Semantic Models/Capacity), governance, performance, and dependencies (report re\-pointing/validation); * Observability and control: Job/pipeline monitoring, SLA definition, failure analysis, alerts, and cost metrics (DBU, idle hours, cost per execution/pipeline, cost per product). **What Will Contribute to Your Success?** * Analytical ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve complex issues in data pipelines; * Clear and effective communication to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and ensure technical and business alignment; * Focus on automation and continuous improvement, consistently optimizing data architecture and processes; * Adaptability to rapidly evolving cloud data ecosystems (Azure/Databricks/Fabric) and FinOps practices, adjusting standards without compromising SLAs or quality.
