Occupational Safety Technician III

Description

Implement and manage occupational safety programs on construction sites, monitoring and evaluating risks inherent to processes. Conduct employee training and awareness activities, proactively analyze risk situations, and propose control measures. Promote preventive and corrective actions within Safety and Environmental Programs, ensuring appropriate performance standards in compliance with current legislation. Support the capacity-building process for Occupational Safety Technicians I and II. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Conduct safety inspections in accommodations, vehicles, and work fronts, identifying and correcting deviations. * Manage and organize safety documentation in accordance with MTE regulations and company standards. * Monitor, distribute, and supervise the use of PPE and uniforms, including evaluation of new equipment. * Report and investigate workplace accidents, requesting issuance of the Accident Communication Form (CAT). * Conduct training sessions and Safety Dialogues (DSS), raising employee awareness of risks. * Monitor work fronts, identifying hazards and ensuring implementation of control measures and proper PPE usage. * Lead the Internal Accident Prevention Committee (CIPA) and support management of Occupational Health Certificates (ASOs), complying with the Occupational Health Program (PCMSO). * Consolidate safety indicators and assist subcontractors in meeting regulatory requirements. * Perform other related duties as directed by leadership. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Technical Vocational Education in Occupational Safety * Advanced knowledge of safety standards and methodologies. * Knowledge of maintenance processes and/or railway and road construction projects. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. * Familiarity with project management tools. * Basic knowledge of occupational hygiene standards. * Basic knowledge of ergonomics. * Knowledge of eSocial. * Knowledge of social security legislation. * Preferred experience: 3 years **Additional Information** Available Benefits * Online medical consultations * Nutritionist services * Psychological support * Meal benefits * Baby kit * Dream Letter program * Life insurance * Travel discounts * Access to gyms and physical activities Present across the entire national territory, we are a construction company specialized in railway engineering, operating in civil construction, infrastructure, superstructure, and OAE projects, serving both public and private clients. **For over 45 years, we have been committed to those who make everything happen: people.** Every day, we build a safe, respectful, and collaborative workplace — a space where every individual feels represented, valued, and part of something greater.
