Job Description: **Job Mission** Ensure compliance and technical robustness of aseptic packaging, thermal processing, and food safety processes through hazard analysis, validation of controls, deviation investigations, quality documentation management, and technical support to industrial operations, guaranteeing adherence to internal, legal, and regulatory requirements. **Key Responsibilities** * Support and lead hazard analyses related to production processes, with knowledge and application of the HACCP plan * Provide technical expertise in aseptic packaging, thermal processing, and food safety processes, ensuring compliance with applicable requirements and leveraging knowledge of food microbiology * Perform validations of CCPs and PRPs, ensuring effectiveness of defined controls * Lead and monitor industrial trials, including overfilling, innovation, and general process testing * Conduct root cause analyses (RCA) and investigations of nonconformities * Establish corrective action plans, follow up with teams, and ensure implementation and closure of actions * Develop, review, and update procedures, standards, work instructions, and quality records * Manage quality documentation * Conduct investigations of nonconformities and consumer complaints * Perform SAP Quality module transactions as per department routine * Develop, critically analyze, consolidate, report, and present quality and nonconformity indicators * Deliver quality training to operations and interfacing departments * Conduct internal and external audits to verify compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), supplier and third-party qualification * Serve as a liaison between technical departments and Regulatory Affairs * Participate in team routines such as DDS, DMS, and WMS, presenting required indicators and communications * Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Microbiology, Supply, Regulatory Affairs, and other partner departments to address deviations, assess risks, and drive continuous improvement **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology, or related fields * Solid prior experience in quality and food safety * Intermediate computer skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) * Knowledge of food quality and safety requirements * Strong background in Quality, Microbiology, Food Safety, and Industrial Processes Preferred Qualifications: * Experience in the food industry involving aseptic processes and microbiology * Experience with thermal processing and associated validations * Experience with CCP and PRP validation * Experience with deviation investigation, root cause analysis, and nonconformity management * Knowledge of GMP, hazard analysis, risk management, and quality systems * Experience developing and reviewing procedures, records, and quality documents * Experience with KPIs, audits, training, and interfacing with regulatory departments * Knowledge of SAP Quality module * Experience with supplier and third-party qualification * Knowledge of consumer complaint handling * Technical English for reading standards, specifications, and documents Company Overview: General Mills is a global leader in the food industry and works to make the foods the world loves!
