POSITION: Senior Occupational Safety Technician IN THIS POSITION, YOU ARE EXPECTED TO: * Know and apply all safety regulations related to corrective and preventive maintenance activities in electricity distribution, paying attention to occupational safety and hygiene measures for employees and third parties potentially involved in such activities. * Inform about risks and hazards associated with performing relevant activities and provide guidance on prevention and neutralization; * Apply all safety regulations related to construction, renovation, expansion, and other projects, paying attention to occupational safety and hygiene measures; * Implement occupational accident, occupational disease, and professional illness prevention programs in the workplace, involving employees, evaluating and analyzing achieved results, proposing updates, and establishing procedures to be followed; * Control PPE records and regulatory reports; * Monitor indicators related to PPE and collective protective equipment (CPE) usage, incidents, accidents, near-misses, and others; • Contribute to Integrated Management System (IMS) management—ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001—by conducting internal and external audits; * Conduct workplace inspections, identifying hazardous conditions and taking all necessary actions to eliminate risk situations; * Specify individual and collective protective equipment; * Plan and actively participate in safety-related events; * Prevent accidents during employee work performance and occupational diseases arising therefrom; * Proactively analyze work processes to eliminate potential bottlenecks that may cause occupational accidents, work-related injuries, and occupational illnesses, proposing optimal solutions to avoid risks and accidents. * Conduct process and safety culture assessments, influencing the implementation of effective actions to resolve systemic and/or specific issues; * Be capable of implementing coaching programs for other HSE professionals; * Prepare comprehensive statistical analyses (including sampling plans), considering key safety metrics to forecast events, using specialized software such as Excel, Python, or similar. Experience implementing and using databases and visualization tools such as Power BI, Spotfire, Dash, or similar.
