





We are seeking a Leader to coordinate strategic activities—both in greenhouses and in the field—in the areas of Trait Introduction and Corn and Soybean Population Development. This position will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate execution of sample collection, genotyping data analysis, and plant selection processes, thereby supporting strategic program decisions and coordinating the team responsible for these activities. Responsibilities: * Plan and coordinate sampling activities for corn and soybean, ensuring sample traceability and quality; * Guide plant selection processes for corn and soybean; * Analyze results according to genotyping strategies and generate reports to support selection decisions; * Provide workload projections to the team and to the genotyping laboratory to assist in workload planning; * Collaborate with breeding, biotechnology, and genotyping laboratory teams to integrate genotypic results; * Monitor quality indicators and propose process improvements; * Influence teams to meet critical demands and deadlines; * Work with Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) in compliance with governmental regulations and internal company policies; * Monitor and maintain adequate levels of consumables and molecular markers required to carry out activities; * Ensure training and adherence to quality management protocols and safety procedures across all activities; * Lead, guide, and motivate the work team; * Track operational efficiency metrics for continuous performance evaluation and ongoing process improvement through innovation; * Engage with the Company’s Safety Program, complying with legal requirements and internal company policies, and motivating colleagues toward the same goal; * Serve as an ethical role model for the team; * Promote a culture of inclusion and belonging. Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Biotechnology, Biological Sciences, or related fields; * Master’s degree in Genetics, Plant Breeding, Biotechnology, or related fields is desirable; * Minimum of 3 years’ experience in genotyping within genetic breeding programs; * Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage schedules; * Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in standard software applications and willingness to learn internal systems; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with emphasis on advanced Excel tools; * Strong English communication skills (intermediate level minimum; fluency in speaking, writing, and comprehension preferred); * Flexibility to work extended hours during critical periods of the year. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with genotyping in a multinational company; * Experience with digital tools for data management and analysis.
