DISTRIBUTION ELECTRICIAN I
Job Summary: This role involves executing preventive maintenance on the distribution network, analyzing service requirements, performing repairs, and operating electrical equipment according to technical standards. Everyone is very welcome here! **Want to be part of this story?** Check whether this opportunity matches your profile and join us in this selection journey! **Responsibilities and duties** * Perform preventive maintenance on the distribution network; carry out preventive maintenance in accordance with procedures and technical standards; * Analyze the service to be performed to ensure appropriate material usage; * Meet pre-established deadlines; * Properly complete the Work Order in compliance with regulations; visually inspect the physical conditions of distribution networks and lines; * Follow the correct sequence for opening and closing equipment; * Carry out necessary corrections on distribution networks; * Perform repairs on electrical installations and auxiliary equipment for protection of building installations and substation yards; * Conduct switching operations on switches and equipment within distribution systems to isolate sections of the electrical system for maintenance or expansion work; inspect equipment; * Operate switches and distribution equipment in accordance with operational procedures; report irregularities found in distribution networks to the COD; * Connect, disconnect, install/remove, and replace energy meters and auxiliary equipment (CT/VT), and inspect consumer units; operate switches and equipment at unmanned substations in accordance with operational procedures and commands issued by COD/COS operators; * Inspect substation equipment; * Prepare reports on the operational conditions of substations; * Install/remove and replace public lighting lamps and auxiliary lighting equipment; * Install/remove and replace public lighting arms; verify connections on distribution networks; * Prepare distribution network sketches to feed the SGD; conduct inspections on distribution networks to ensure continuity of power supply or restoration of the system following faults; * Report irregularities detected during field inspections to the COD/COS; * Correctly complete distribution network inspection forms; * Test equipment operation in accordance with technical standards; * Safely and appropriately recover and expand low-voltage electrical installations at substations; * Drive vehicles, maintaining them in good condition, complying with the National Traffic Code and internal regulations, avoiding incompatible speeds, abrupt braking or maneuvers, and safeguarding company materials and equipment. **Requirements and qualifications** * Completed high school education; * Distribution Network Electrician course (minimum duration: 240 hours); * NR 35 training (minimum duration: 8 hours); * NR 10 training (minimum duration: 40 hours); * NR 10 – Complementary Module training (minimum duration: 40 hours); * Driver’s license category “B”. **Additional information** Our **PEOPLE** are our greatest ENERGY.
