**What are we looking for?** We are seeking an experienced and proactive **Senior Java Developer** to join our high-performance Scrum team. In this role, you will have a dynamic involvement, combining the maintenance and support of essential products with the development of new features and improvements. You will be a key player throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from coding and testing to automation, DevOps, and documentation. **Main Responsibilities:** * Join an existing Scrum team, actively collaborating in product maintenance and evolution. * Develop clean, efficient, and scalable code using Java, Spring, React, and TypeScript. * Work across the full software development lifecycle: coding, manual testing, creating automated tests, and technical documentation. * Manage and operate CI/CD pipelines, ensuring continuous integration and delivery (DevOps). * Provide Level 2 technical support by investigating and resolving production incidents. * Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as Daily Meetings, Sprint Plannings, Reviews, Retrospectives, and backlog refinements. **Technical Requirements:** * Languages and Frameworks: Solid experience with Java (8\+), Spring Framework, React/TypeScript, and JavaScript. * Architecture and Databases: In-depth knowledge of microservices architecture, REST API development, and relational databases (SQL). * Containers and Orchestration: Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes. * Cloud \& DevOps: Experience developing in cloud environments and using CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, SonarQube, among others (e.g., CodeQL, Black Duck, Checkmarx). * Methodologies: Proven experience in Agile/Scrum development environments. **Qualifications and Skills:** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Analysis, or related fields. * **Advanced or fluent English** (written and spoken), with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with global teams and native speakers. * Previous experience in product maintenance, support, and direct interaction with clients or stakeholders. * Strong analytical skills and exceptional ability to solve complex problems. * Positive and agile mindset, with a strong sense of teamwork, proactivity, and results orientation. * Ability to autonomously manage tasks and make technical decisions. **Our Selection Process:** To ensure alignment in our technical expectations and communication abilities, our selection process includes two key validation steps: * **Technical Test**: You will be invited to complete a practical coding challenge on a platform so we can assess your coding and problem-solving skills. * **English Validation**: There will be a portion during the first HR interview to confirm your English communication proficiency, which is essential for day-to-day performance in this role. **Location:** 100% remote **Why build your career at Meta?** We offer autonomy, clear goals, and a dynamic, challenging environment where professionals have the opportunity to interact with diverse technologies, participate in all kinds of projects, bring new ideas, and work from anywhere in Brazil—and why not?—from anywhere in the world.
