Job Summary: A professional to lead the formation and evolution of interdisciplinary teams, ensuring strategic planning and data quality for Analytics, working within the Data Platform and Data Engineering areas. Here, we build technology solutions by continuously envisioning and developing automation techniques and processes—whether to enhance our teams' work experience or increase our capacity to deliver products and services. **The Data & AI division develops data platforms, experimentation platforms, machine learning, recommendation, and audience segmentation platforms for Globo's digital products (Globoplay, G1, GE, GShow, etc).** These platforms serve as the foundation for delivering content to over 100 million users each month. They are also used to create and evolve our models for churn prediction/prospecting/affinities/anomalies, contextual advertising metadata extraction models, user graph relationship/entity/property inference models, advertising inventory optimization models, video distribution and playback cache optimization models, among others. You will work within the Data Platform area, focusing on data engineering and Analytics topics. **This role’s challenge involves understanding the Analytics data technology stack—from ingestion through to metrics. It requires a vision capable of aligning technology with business needs using the various tracking and analytics tools and platforms available to support our products.** We create environments where all people are included, welcomed, and valued. Work model: Hybrid—locations with Globo offices (RJ, SP, POA, BH, Recife, and BSB). **Responsibilities and Duties** **Your day-to-day will include:** * Forming, leading, and evolving interdisciplinary teams while respecting each individual’s role, knowledge, and uniqueness; * Collaborating with other leaders and internal and external teams to foster synergy in deliveries and exchange of experience; * Ensuring team delivery and process planning aligned with the company’s strategic vision and planning; * Providing technical leadership, ensuring technical standardization and data quality produced by the teams; * Supporting recruitment and selection processes; * Contributing to team outcomes by acting as a mediator and assisting in conflict management, negotiation, and removal of impediments; * Fostering a collaborative team culture, feedback practices, 1:1 meetings, mentoring, and supporting each collaborator’s development; * Supporting delivery, planning, and execution processes and controls; * Ensuring alignment and communication with all areas directly and indirectly involved in the products under your management; * Implementing new technologies and methods that bring improvements and innovation to analytics processes, encouraging continuous improvement; * Establishing, measuring, and monitoring performance KPIs to assess team efficiency; * Managing project budgets and resources, ensuring efficient allocation; * Providing data-driven insights and presenting projects and results in executive meetings. **Requirements and Qualifications** **What you need:** * Completed undergraduate degree in Technology-related fields; * Experience managing teams and technology products and/or platforms; * Knowledge of Analytics; * Experience with high-performance, highly available system delivery cycles; * Experience forming, leading, and evolving interdisciplinary teams based on goals and performance metrics; * Experience working with interdisciplinary teams (developers, product owners, scrum masters); * Knowledge of Agile Manifesto principles and Kanban or Scrum methodologies; * Knowledge of product lifecycle, discovery, delivery, and tracking delivery evolution; * Data-driven mindset. **Knowledge that sets you apart:** * Ability to connect data, AI, and business strategy to impact metrics such as engagement, retention, and monetization; * Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and large-scale data operations, including DataOps practices; * Awareness of the importance of diversity within teams; * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and intolerance for rigid, non-scalable solutions; * Implementation of monitoring systems with SLA, SLI, and SLO management, and operational team support for incident resolution; * Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform; * Knowledge of Google Analytics. **Additional Information** **Why join Globo:** Come, and let’s create stories and technologies together.
