Do you want to be part of something truly big and learn extensively, within an environment grounded in ethics, commitment, appreciation, and respect for people? **Then \#JoinEconomart!** **Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:** --------------------------------- * Oversee perishables department operations * Ensure proper product replenishment, accurate pricing, and appropriate product display * Monitor expiration dates, quality, hygiene, and food preservation in compliance with sanitary regulations * Manage personnel: scheduling, feedback, performance monitoring, and training * Supervise the operational team within the department, providing guidance and assigning daily tasks * Conduct inventories, control losses and spoilage of perishable products * Support execution of promotional activities and commercial campaigns * Ensure organization, cleanliness, and adherence to safety standards in production and display areas **Therefore, we require you to have:** ----------------------------------------- * Experience in wholesale, retail, or wholesale-retail (atacarejo) chains * Prior experience in management or leadership roles within perishables departments * Knowledge of food handling and preservation * Familiarity with inventory control and stocktaking * Understanding of good sanitary practices and health surveillance regulations * Availability for on-site work, including weekend shifts **Work Schedule:** ------------------------ Rotating 6x1 schedule (one day off per week and two Sundays per month) **What You’ll Find at Economart:** ------------------------------------------ * Market-competitive salary * Transportation allowance or fuel voucher * Breakfast and afternoon coffee * Hazard pay * Health insurance * Dental insurance * Life insurance * University partnerships: up to 50% discount at select institutions * Professional growth opportunities
