**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Monitor energy generation systems during daily operations.
* Supervise the operation and control of power generation equipment through visual inspections.
* Perform routine inspections/maintenance to minimize interruptions.
* Carry out startup and shutdown procedures for machinery.
* Perform switching operations on the Power Electrical System (SEP) and release equipment for intervention under supervision.
* Monitor and report alarms, assisting in the identification of initial issues.
* Activate maintenance/on-call teams as needed.
* Monitor and adjust generation output according to scheduling.
* Interface with the Remote Operation Center.
* Prepare Daily Operation Reports.
* Follow Safety and Environmental Protocols.
* Record operational data.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
* Academic Background: Technical degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Automation Engineering.
* Confined Space Entry Supervisor Training (NR33);
* Working at Heights Safety Training (NR35);
* NR10 Training (40 hours);
* Pressure Vessel Training (NR13);
* ENGEMAN software training.
* Proficiency and knowledge of computer applications;
* Driver’s license minimum Class “B”;
* 3 years of experience as an operator at hydroelectric power plants with installed capacity equal to or greater than 30 MW;
* Mandatory training for network procedure compliance;
* Knowledge of electrical diagrams.
