The Senior Clinical Pathology Assistant is responsible for assisting in the processing and analysis of biological samples in clinical laboratories. Performs activities related to the collection, preparation, and storage of materials, following technical procedures and biosafety standards. Additionally, assists in the maintenance and cleaning of laboratory equipment and in the inventory control of laboratory supplies. * Collect biological samples, adhering to established protocols and ensuring sample integrity. * Assist in sample processing by separating and identifying materials according to medical requests. * Operate laboratory equipment, such as centrifuges, following usage guidelines and ensuring result accuracy. * Record and document all procedures performed, ensuring sample and result traceability. * Manage inventory of laboratory supplies and materials, recording incoming and outgoing items and requesting replenishments when necessary. * Collaborate with the laboratory technical team, following instructions from the technical supervisor and contributing to the efficient operation of the department. * Adhere to biosafety regulations and good laboratory practices, ensuring the safety and quality of all procedures performed.
