Production Assistant

Description

The Production Assistant in a cassava starch plant is responsible for supporting the operational activities of the cassava starch manufacturing process. Works directly on the production line, performing manual tasks and operating equipment under supervision, ensuring process efficiency and final product quality. Must comply with safety, hygiene, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards. * Operate and monitor machines that wash, peel, crush, and sieve cassava to extract starch, under supervision; * Adjust equipment settings as needed to ensure process quality and efficiency, under supervision; * Responsible for product bagging and general services; * Keep the area clean (floors, machinery, etc...); * Accurately complete the production record sheet; * Assist the forklift operator as required; * Perform cleaning according to IT.02\.02 and IT.02\.03; * Keep packaging materials clean and organized; * Correctly segregate rejected products; * Clock in/out accurately; changes only when authorized by supervisors; * Comply with GMP, quality, and occupational safety standards INDUSTRIAL OPERATIONS AND MECHANICAL EXPERIENCE WILL BE A PLUS.
