Job Summary: Proactive and collaborative Automotive Electrician specialized in buses, responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicle electrical systems, while also serving as a knowledge multiplier. Preventive and corrective maintenance across various systems We seek an Automotive Electrician specialized in buses with strong technical expertise, proactive and collaborative attitude, experience in vehicle electrical systems, and interest in acting as a knowledge multiplier to support the maintenance team’s development. The professional will be responsible for diagnostics, repairs, configurations, and preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring fleet reliability and operational safety. Key Responsibilities * Perform general automotive electrical services, with emphasis on heavy-duty vehicles (buses); * Act as a training multiplier, training the team on electrical maintenance systems; * Diagnose electrical faults, identify root causes, and propose technical solutions; * Repair wiring harnesses, shorts, relays, fuses, and lamps; * Configure parameters in electronic modules and embedded systems; * Maintain instrument panels, tachographs, and electronic route displays; * Repair interior lighting, windshield wipers, and door chime systems; * Install and maintain onboard monitoring systems; * Maintain alternators, starter motors, and general sensors; * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on lifting platforms and accessibility systems; * Maintain automotive air conditioning systems; * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on fare gates and electronic ticketing systems; * Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and fleet availability standards. Requirements: ✅ Desired Qualifications Experience in automotive electrical work on heavy-duty vehicles (buses or trucks); Knowledge of embedded electronics, modules, and fault diagnostics; Experience with ticketing systems, tachographs, air conditioning, and lifting platforms is a plus. * Valued Differentiators Experience in public transportation companies; Technical courses in Electrotechnology, Mechatronics, or Automotive Mechanics; Experience with structured preventive maintenance.
