And this is how we continually strengthen our BP identity. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Promote safety of life and property by directly acting in fire prevention, accident prevention, and emergency response; * Know the facility layout, identify risks, and implement improvement actions aimed at ensuring the safety of all individuals within the institution; * Ensure the proper functioning of fire-fighting equipment, emergency signage, and emergency exits; * Conduct preventive fire and accident patrols and inspections; * Map fire prevention and safety-related risks and hazards to propose improvement actions; * Respond to emergency calls; * Inspect and control all fire prevention and fire-fighting equipment; * Participate in the development/update of the area evacuation plan; * Deliver fire prevention and fire-fighting training to all internal personnel; * Conduct simulated drills across all areas of the institution; * Monitor maintenance services for fire prevention and fire-fighting systems; * Prepare reports on all emergencies and risk scenarios, proposing improvement measures and tracking their resolution; * Understand environmental aspects and impacts, as well as applicable legal requirements related to their activities, supporting process-related actions; environmental minimization and improvement efforts, pursuing process compliance; * Know and apply Environmental Management operational control procedures applicable to their area—specifically those related to waste management, liquid effluents, atmospheric emissions, and natural resources—seeking compliance and promoting understanding and application of these routines among all relevant departments, thereby contributing to achieving established environmental objectives; * Know and support emergency situations through conducting and/or participating in simulations related to applicable environmental emergency response plans and in actual incidents, when applicable; * Plan, support, and conduct internal audits to verify implementation and compliance with EMS requirements. **Requirements and Qualifications** * High School or Technical Education – Training in Civil Firefighting; * Prior experience as a Civil Firefighter; * Preferred: Experience in healthcare institutions. **Additional Information** **Work Schedule:** 36 hours per week, rotating 12x36 shift pattern **Work Location:** BP Hospital **Work Model:** On-site **What We Offer?** Transportation Allowance Meal Allowance On-site Cafeteria Medical Assistance Dental Assistance Childcare Support Total Pass: A benefits platform granting access to gyms and studios across various modalities for employees and dependents.
