We have an opportunity for an **OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY TECHNICIAN I at CASTERTECH SCHROEDER/SC (Regular Business Hours)!** This is your moment — apply now! **\#YouAtRandoncorp \#WeAreRandoncorp \#JoinCastertechSchroeder** **Responsibilities and Duties** * Control the company's occupational safety activities; develop, propose, and disseminate internal safety regulations; conduct technical inspections to identify environmental hazards; prepare studies on occupational hygiene issues; guide the operation of the Internal Accident Prevention Committee (CIPA); * Analyze work methods and processes to identify risk factors for occupational accidents, occupational diseases, and work-related illnesses, and propose actions for their elimination or control; * Implement occupational accident, occupational disease, and work-related illness prevention programs; * Promote discussions, meetings, campaigns, seminars, lectures, meetings, training sessions, and utilize other didactic and pedagogical resources to disseminate safety and occupational hygiene regulations; * Implement safety regulations related to construction, expansion, renovation, physical layout, and production flow projects, ensuring compliance with safety and occupational hygiene measures, including those applicable to third parties; * Recommend, request, and inspect fire protection equipment in accordance with current legislation, and lead the emergency response team according to recommended technical specifications and quality standards, evaluating its performance; * Manage Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), from development and requisition through implementation and monitoring within work sectors, aiming to protect employees' physical integrity; * Support environmental activities by advising on industrial waste treatment and disposal; * Guide contracted companies' activities regarding occupational safety and hygiene procedures stipulated in legislation, internal procedures, or service contracts; * Understand and promote Castertech's Management Model, Quality Policy, and Environmental Policy; * Understand and promote Castertech's Mission and Vision; * Comply with technical, administrative, occupational health and safety, operational, quality, and environmental preservation standards. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Mandatory:** * Completed High School education; * Completed Technical Course in Occupational Safety; * Registration with the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE); * Proficiency in computer applications/Microsoft Office; * Experience in occupational safety roles. **Additional Information** **Working Hours:** * Regular Business Hours: From 7:30 AM to 5:18 PM\. #### **At Randoncorp, we believe the future is built by people.
