Managed by a multi-family administration, the group operates 22 Rede TOP stores and 5 Preceiro Atacadista stores, totaling approximately 2\.000 employees, 300 checkouts, and 35\.000 m² of sales area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for operating the checkout and serving customers, following established protocols, rules, regulations, and standards; scanning merchandise and processing payments; performing cash withdrawals from the register; closing the register; and reconciling daily transactions at the end of the shift. ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED Ensure excellence in customer service at the checkout, following established protocols, rules, regulations, and standards; scanning/weighing products; consulting code tables; verifying product labels, scale weights, and system records; collecting payment; for checks, verifying prior authorization and making appropriate notations on the back; for cash, verifying authenticity; Ensure cash withdrawals from the register during the shift and its proper closing, including counting cash, totaling amounts, signing documentation, and submitting it to the Supervisor and/or depositing it into a safe or 24-hour cash box—thereby avoiding accumulation of exposed cash and ensuring accurate reconciliation; Contribute to achieving targets of current campaigns by offering available products and services, identifying missing items, and reporting them to the Supervisor for follow-up; Help reduce front-end checkout losses through preventive measures such as minimizing plastic bag waste, preventing theft, and promptly returning perishable items; Maintain and ensure the workplace and equipment are clean and fully operational; request plastic bags, receipt rolls, and other supplies as needed; Assist in sorting merchandise for home delivery when required, ensuring optimal packaging; Support related tasks as needed, such as shelf and checkout stand restocking, pricing and expiration date verification of merchandise, gift packaging, etc. REQUIREMENTS **Education:** Completed elementary school **Additional Information:** This position is 100% on-site **Work Location:** R.
