Job Summary: Responsible for operating the cash register and serving customers, scanning merchandise, collecting payments, and performing cash withdrawals. Key Highlights: 1. Under multi-family management, the group operates 22 Rede TOP stores and 5 Preceiro Atacadista stores, totaling approximately 2\.000 employees, 300 checkouts, and 35\.000 m² of sales area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for cash register operations and customer service, following established protocols, rules, regulations, and standards; scanning merchandise, collecting payments, performing cash withdrawals, closing the register, and reconciling daily transactions at the end of the shift. ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED Ensure excellence in customer service at the cash register, adhering to protocols, rules, regulations, and pre-established standards; scanning/weighing products, consulting code tables, checking product labels, verifying weight on scales and system matching; processing payments—including verifying prior authorization and making proper endorsements on the back when accepting checks—and authenticating cash; Ensure cash withdrawals during the shift and cash register closing by counting cash, recording totals, signing and submitting reports to the supervisor and/or depositing funds into a safe or 24-hour cash box, thereby preventing excess exposed cash and ensuring accurate reconciliation; Contribute to achieving targets of current campaigns by promoting available products and services, identifying missing items, and reporting such omissions to the supervisor for follow-up; Contribute to reducing front-end cash register losses through preventive actions—such as minimizing plastic bag waste, preventing theft, promptly returning perishables, etc.; Maintain the workstation and equipment in optimal working and clean condition; request plastic bags, receipt rolls, and other supplies as needed; Assist in sorting merchandise for home delivery when required, ensuring optimal packaging; Assist with related tasks as needed, including shelf stocking, checkout counter restocking, product pricing and expiry date verification, gift wrapping, etc. Requirements **Academic qualification:** Completed elementary education **Additional information:** 100% on-site position **Work location:** R.
