Production Assistant / Machine Operator

Job Summary: Operates machines, executes manufacturing processes, assists in continuous improvement and equipment maintenance, and records product information. Key Highlights: 1. Collaboration in maintenance and organization of the workplace Perform machine operation activities, verifying work orders (O.S.) and confirming tasks to be executed by loading and unloading raw materials and products, performing adjustments and calibrations on low- and medium-complexity production equipment according to technical specifications and using appropriate tools and instruments, aiming to achieve established targets; Execute manufacturing processes strictly following instructions received from the area supervisor; Assist in the continuous improvement of production processes, facilities, and manufacturing procedures by identifying opportunities, formulating suggestions, and disseminating them to enhance safety and increase productivity; Carry out low-complexity tasks assigned by immediate supervisors, considering technical knowledge level, quantities, product varieties and characteristics, and machine and equipment conditions for each shift change; Contribute to proper use of manufacturing facilities and equipment by assisting in requesting maintenance services, as well as supporting visual inspection and cleaning of equipment and production lines at each product change and/or shift change; Record information about manufactured products in appropriate forms at each process stage by completing reports as comprehensively as possible; Maintain production line equipment by using specific cleaning agents for machines and equipment at each product change and/or shift change; Handle material and product movement within manufacturing stages between equipment, verifying operational requirements and qualifications; Ensure cleanliness and organization of the workplace and proper maintenance of tools and equipment, keeping them organized and clean for reuse when necessary, in compliance with applicable standards and procedures; Actively participate in quality improvement programs for products, services, and the environment; comply with internal regulations and occupational safety rules; and use personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing duties; Perform other tasks inherent to the position or as directed by the immediate supervisor.
