Performs high\-level design/modeling to convert stakeholder needs into software solutions. Develops software and tools in support of design, infrastructure and technology platforms. Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design. Develops the architectural guidelines, specifications, and technical standards and communicates to stakeholders.**This role in summary** ------------------------ Work in a collaborative environment to develop the next generation of appliances. Develop global embedded Software solutions and IoT solutions. Develop Software in C/C\+\+ and Java, work with a variety of microprocessors, Software Development Kit (SDKs), open source libraries and operating systems (RTOS). This position will be based out of our Joinville Office on a 5 days on site working scheme. Please Submit Your Resumé in English **Your responsibilities will include** -------------------------------------- Your responsibilities will include Daily activities in software life cycle, translate requirements into software functional specifications to product level testing, including software design, implementation and unit testing. Software / firmware development in C/C\+\+/Java over a RTOS framework; Actively join Design Reviews, conduct peer reviews, and provide meaningful feedback for other team members; Create, document and execute Unit Tests. Create, document and execute White and Black Box software tests; Document Software Design and implementation into standard software documentation formats; Release software for validation and production; Contribute on the development process from the technical design and architecture to the implementation and maintenance; Eventual international travels; **Minimum requirements** ------------------------ B.S. Electrical/ Electronics Engineer, Computer Engineer, Mechatronics or correlated area Proficiency in the C language Ability to read datasheets, software \& hardware reference documents, create setups and debug hardware related issues without supervision; Fluent English is a must **Preferred skills and experiences** ------------------------------------ Experience with professional software engineering practices over all aspects of software development life\-cycle including writing requirements specifications, developing design guidelines and coding standards, performing code reviews, source code control, build systems, testing, release engineering and field support Experience with a variety of coding languages and paradigms, including C\+\+, Java, JavaScript Python, UML / SysML and modeling languages Comfortable with Object Oriented programing Understanding or exposure to IOT, WiFi, BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git Familiarity with continuous integration and test Ability to work cross functionally and globally. Knowledgeable of theory and use of Test Driven Development (TDD) Experience with User Interface Design patterns (MVC, MVP, MVVM) Critical analysis / thought to solve problems; Capable of working independently with cross functional teams and to provide updates to the leadership through effective communication. Should be able to negotiate and influence technical and non\-technical audiences A passion for applying latest technologies into the development of innovative features and products A collaborative attitude and strong desire to succeed as part of the team.
