Job Summary: GTOP is seeking a professional to work as a cashier, responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, processing transactions, and contributing to the organization of the department. Maintenance of the workplace and equipment About Us GTOP comprises the brands Rede TOP, ObenCard, and Preceiro Atacadista. With multi-family management, the group operates 22 Rede TOP stores and 5 Preceiro Atacadista stores, totaling approximately 2\.000 employees, 300 checkouts, and 35\.000 m² of sales area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Receive the cash bag with the supervisor, verify and place it in the cash register, log in as an operator and begin the day by taking the opening reading, clean the cash register, serve customers and visitors, scan products and merchandise individually, verify pre-packaged items, collect sales proceeds, complete administrative forms and reports, request testing of appliances, assist in packing merchandise, withdraw cash (supervisor). ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED Ensure excellence in customer service at the checkout, following established protocols, rules, standards, and procedures; scanning/weighing items, consulting the code table, checking product labels, verifying weight on the scale and system correspondence, processing payments, and, in case of checks, confirming prior authorization and making appropriate notations on the back; in case of cash, verifying authenticity; Ensure cash withdrawals from the register during working hours and its closing, including counting cash, recording totals, signing documentation, and delivering it to the supervisor and/or depositing it into a safe or 24-hour cash box, thereby avoiding excessive exposed cash and ensuring accountability; Contribute to achieving goals of ongoing campaigns by offering available products and services, identifying missing items, and reporting such omissions to the supervisor for corrective action; Help reduce front-of-checkout loss indicators through preventive actions—such as minimizing plastic bag waste, preventing theft, and promptly returning perishable items; Maintain the workplace and equipment in optimal condition and cleanliness, and request plastic bags, receipt rolls, and other supplies as needed; Assist in sorting merchandise for home delivery when required, ensuring optimal packaging; Support related tasks whenever necessary, such as shelf stocking, checkout stand restocking, pricing and expiry date verification of merchandise, gift wrapping, etc. Requirements **Academic Qualification:** Completed High School **Additional Information:** 100% in-person position **Work Location:** Rua Dr. Pedro Zimmermann, 7155, Itoupava Central \- Blumenau, SC **Working Hours:** 07:50 to 17:10 (2-hour break) Compensation allowance for Sundays worked **Benefits:** Attendance Bonus Cash Register Closing Bonus Transportation Voucher Childcare Assistance Rede TOP Store Purchase Agreement Life Insurance Health Plan Dental Plan Cafeteria with snacks/coffee Disciplinary Evaluation Professional Advancement * Position available for Persons with Disabilities (PCD)
