Job Summary: The professional will be responsible for ensuring excellence in customer service at the checkout, registering products, processing payments, and ensuring accurate cash register closing. With multi-family management, the group operates 22 Rede TOP stores and 5 Preceiro Atacadista stores, totaling approximately 2\.000 employees, 300 checkouts, and 35\.000 m² of sales area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Receive the cash bag with the supervisor, verify its contents, place it in the register, log in as operator, begin the shift by taking the initial reading, clean the register, serve customers and visitors, register products and items individually, verify pre-packaged goods, receive payment for sold items, complete administrative forms and reports, request appliance testing, assist in packing merchandise, and withdraw cash (supervisor). ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED Ensure excellence in customer service at the checkout, following established protocols, rules, standards, and procedures—scanning/weighing items, consulting the product code table, checking product labels, verifying weight on the scale and system correspondence; processing payments; for checks, confirming prior authorization and making appropriate notations on the back; for cash, verifying authenticity; Ensure timely cash withdrawals during business hours and proper register closing—counting cash, reconciling totals, signing documentation, and delivering it to the supervisor and/or depositing into a safe or 24-hour cash box—to avoid excessive exposed cash and ensure accountability; Contribute to achieving current campaign targets by offering available products and services, identifying missing items, and reporting them to the supervisor for action; Help reduce front-end losses through preventive measures—including minimizing plastic bag waste, preventing theft, promptly returning perishables, etc.; Maintain the workstation and equipment in perfect working and clean condition, and request plastic bags, receipt rolls, and other supplies as needed; Assist in sorting merchandise for home delivery when required, ensuring optimal packaging; Support related tasks whenever necessary, such as shelf and checkout stand restocking, pricing and expiry date verification of merchandise, gift packaging, among others; Requirements **Academic Qualification:** Completed High School **Additional Information:** 100% in-person position **Work Location:** Rua Dr Pedro Zimmermann, 7155, Itoupava Central \- Blumenau, SC **Working Hours:** 07:50–17:10 (2-hour break) Compensation for Sundays worked **Benefits:** Attendance Bonus Cash Register Closing Bonus Transportation Allowance Childcare Assistance Rede TOP Store Purchase Discount Program Life Insurance Health Plan Dental Plan Cafeteria with snacks/coffee Disciplinary Evaluation Professional Advancement * Position available for Persons with Disabilities (PCD)
