Shipping Assistant

**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:** Someone to join our Shipping team, responsible for manual vehicle loading, material handling using a manual pallet jack, sheet metal handling, and cargo organization. **Responsibilities and Duties** **WHAT YOU WILL DO:** * Perform vehicle loading and unloading according to the shipping schedule. * Move materials using a manual pallet jack, following operational procedures. * Manually load sheets and other materials when required. * Assist with opening, closing, and securing cargo in vehicles. * Organize and rework palletizations (stretch film application and box rearrangement). * Maintain cleanliness, organization, and upkeep of the shipping area. * Comply with safety regulations, PPE usage, internal policies, and company procedures. **Requirements and Qualifications** **WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:** * Completed High School education * Basic computer skills are a plus **Additional Information** **Smurfit Westrock**, a global leader in sustainable paper and packaging, operates in 40 countries with over 500 packaging conversion operations and 59 paper mills.
