Job Summary: Responsible for operating the cash register and serving customers, following protocols and standards, scanning merchandise, and processing payments. Key Highlights: 1. About Us GTOP comprises the brands Rede TOP, ObenCard, and Preceiro Atacadista. With multi-family management, the group operates 22 Rede TOP stores and 5 Preceiro Atacadista stores, totaling approximately 2\.000 employees, 300 checkouts, and 35\.000 m² of sales area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for operating the cash register and serving customers, following established protocols, rules, regulations, and standards; scanning merchandise and processing payments; performing cash withdrawals from the register; closing the register; and reconciling daily transactions at the end of the shift. ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED Ensure excellence in customer service at the cash register by following established protocols, rules, regulations, and standards; scanning/weighing products; consulting code tables; checking product labels; verifying weight on scales and system correspondence; collecting payments; for checks, confirming prior authorization and making appropriate notations on the back; for cash, verifying authenticity; Ensure cash withdrawals from the register during the shift and its proper closing, including counting cash, totaling amounts, signing documentation, and delivering it to the Supervisor and/or depositing it into a safe or 24-hour cash box, thereby avoiding excessive exposed cash and ensuring accountability; Contribute to achieving goals of current campaigns by offering available products and services, identifying missing items, and reporting them to the Supervisor for action; Contribute to reducing loss rates at the front-end cashier area by proactively minimizing bag waste, potential thefts, and promptly returning perishables; Maintain the workplace and equipment in perfect working and clean condition, and request bags, rolls, and other supplies as needed; Assist in sorting merchandise for home delivery when required, ensuring optimal packaging; Assist with related tasks as needed, such as shelf stocking, checkout stand restocking, pricing and expiry date verification of merchandise, gift packaging, etc. Requirements **Academic qualification:** Completed elementary education **Additional information:** 100% in-person position **Work location:** Av.
