Job Summary: Professional to assist welders and machine operators in a metallurgical plant, performing cutting, grinding, and finishing of parts, as well as inspections and maintenance. Perform cutting, grinding, and finishing of parts Description: * Completed elementary education * Experience as an assistant in metallurgical production sectors * Knowledge of operating manual grinders * Perform MPO (Machine Preventive Operation) on equipment, inspecting components daily and requesting corrective maintenance when necessary, ensuring equipment remains fully operational. * Comply with work rules and procedures * Assist the Boiler Welder in assembling fabricated parts, performing necessary cuts and grinding on parts to be fabricated, and manual plasma cutting. When required, perform pre-heating and material cutting using a torch, adhering to welding standards, following manufacturing procedures and instructions from the Production Supervisor and/or Boiler Welder. * Assist machine operators: roll bending machine, CNC cutting machine, press brake, guillotine shear, drill press, saw cutting machines, following manufacturing procedures and instructions from the Production Supervisor and/or Machine Operators. * Perform grinding and finishing of fabricated parts using manual grinders. Perform cutting using grinders, belt sanders, saws, and manual plasma cutters. Perform drilling on parts using manual or bench drills. Conduct intermediate and/or final inspections, recording executed services on the form (when applicable) to maintain updated production controls. * Record working hours, machine downtime, materials used, and defects identified, to keep equipment and machines fully operational and ensure data accuracy. * Maintain tools under one's responsibility, using and storing them properly to preserve company assets and comply with the 5S philosophy. * Participate in improvement projects, suggesting and contributing toward improving working conditions, productivity, and cost reduction, and acting preventively. * Comply with occupational safety regulations and integrated quality management procedures to ensure employees' physical integrity. * Adhere to established organization and cleanliness standards. 2512100202181911797
