Participation in the evaluation and acquisition of new equipment **JOB DESCRIPTION**: Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining electrical tests on rotating electric machines; evaluating new tests and new test equipment and instruments; suggesting improvements to induction motor, DC machine, and synchronous machine designs—aiming to meet quality standards required by customers and international norms. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Plan and evaluate electrical tests on rotating electric machines, aiming to reduce machine test duration, anticipate necessary devices for test execution, and observe product quality requirements and area productivity. * Analyze tests performed on induction motors, DC machines, and synchronous machines, proposing modifications based on technical and scientific foundations and professional judgment. * Suggest improvements to rotating electric machine designs, focusing on reducing field failures, improving performance, and optimizing costs. * Evaluate special tests for customer or national/international certification body approval processes. * Support team training by disseminating best testing practices. * Participate in analysis, selection, specification, and recommendation for acquisition or manufacturing of new equipment. * Develop studies and initiatives aimed at improving product quality. * Identify and assess the need for new measurement and testing equipment, promoting its specification and acquisition. **Requirements and Qualifications** **MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS**: * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or Automation Engineering. * Intermediate English proficiency. * Experience with rotating electric machines. **PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS**: * Experience in Greenfield projects. * Proficiency in Industrial Electricity. * Hands-on experience in rotating electric machine testing. * Technical knowledge of rotating electric machine calculations. * Familiarity with rotating electric machine technology. * Knowledge of noise and vibration analysis. **PERSONAL SKILLS**: Initiative, creativity, ability to teach and learn, organization, leadership, interpersonal skills, negotiation, quick action and reasoning, abstract reasoning, flexibility, and critical thinking (awareness of consequences of errors). **Additional Information** **BENEFITS**: Profit-sharing program; Private pension plan; Health and dental insurance; Subsidized meal allowance; On-site medical clinic; Pharmacy card; Advantage club; Flexible working hours; Training programs; Daycare agreements; Life insurance; Recreational association, among others.
