Mentor and support junior professionals **Description** **The Opportunity:** We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated professional to assume the role of Project Manager to lead and execute complex projects at Hitachi Energy Brasil. This position is critical to ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, directly contributing to our strategic objectives and customer satisfaction. **How You Will Make an Impact:** * Lead and manage the entire project lifecycle—from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, control, and closure—across multiple projects within Hitachi Energy Brasil’s portfolio. * Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, detailed work breakdown structure (WBS), resource allocation, budget forecasting, and schedule with critical path. * Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, developing contingency plans and escalating when necessary to ensure continuity. * Manage budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial targets are met, providing regular reports and forecasts. * Coordinate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, suppliers, and customers to ensure alignment and project success. * Establish and maintain clear communication channels, conducting regular meetings, status updates, and formal presentations for all relevant parties. * Oversee and ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and health, safety, and environmental regulations. * Drive continuous improvement initiatives in project management processes and methodologies, sharing best practices and lessons learned. * Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers and external partners, ensuring compliance with project requirements and legal obligations. * Mentor and support junior project management professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and professional development. * Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable internal and external standards, procedures, and guidelines. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field. Postgraduate education is a plus. * Proven track record of over 8 years of progressive experience in project management roles, preferably within energy, industrial, or technology sectors. * Strong command of project management methodologies (PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable). * Advanced proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, JIRA) and Microsoft Office suite. * Solid understanding of financial management principles and experience with budgetary control and reporting. * Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities simultaneously. * Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to risk management. * Advanced English language proficiency. * Spanish language knowledge (a plus) **Qualified individuals with a disability may request a reasonable accommodation if you are unable or limited in your ability to use or access the Hitachi Energy career site as a result of your disability.
