Job Summary: Food and beverage professional responsible for performing opening and closing duties, delivering quality service, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining hygiene standards. Upselling opportunities and promotion of offers Perform assigned opening and closing tasks and prepare all tables according to standards and procedures. Provide food and beverage service in accordance with departmental standards and procedures. Verify table setup, cleanliness, and preparation of support stations according to the assigned workstation prior to operations commencement. Warmly greet all customers upon arrival and escort them to their tables. Ensure all food and beverages are served according to service standards. Apply necessary precautions regarding hotel food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP). Take and serve food and beverage orders. Ensure food and beverages are delivered promptly to customers as soon as ready, arriving at customers' tables at the correct temperature. Attempt to remember customers' names and preferences to deliver personalized service. Perform upselling and promote food and beverage offers at every available opportunity to maximize sales revenue. Sell alternative dining options when the restaurant is full. Thank all customers for visiting the restaurant upon departure. Clean and organize tables as quickly as possible after customers leave, taking items to the dishwashing area. Collect food and beverage supply requisitions, ensuring collected inventory matches the requisition. Report any complaints, incidents, or irregularities to management. Assist other food and beverage outlets with their operations during peak hours or as needed.
