Maintenance Inspector

Description

Job Summary: Responsible for mechanical inspections, creation of maintenance work orders, and technical support to maintenance planners. Key Highlights: 1. Conduct sensory and predictive inspections on industrial equipment. 2. Provide technical support to maintenance planners. 3. Suggest improvements to maintenance plans based on inspection findings. Responsible for performing mechanical inspections on factory assets in accordance with defined maintenance plans; suggests the creation of new maintenance plans and the revision of existing ones based on inspection results. Generates maintenance work orders (WOs) to correct anomalies identified during inspections; provides technical assistance in defining required materials for procurement; and offers technical support to maintenance planners and maintenance schedulers. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Conduct sensory and predictive inspections, verifying repair quality as well as industrial maintenance inspections, guided by established inspection procedures. * Generate maintenance work orders in the system for all anomalies and potential failures identified during inspections. * Provide technical assistance in assembling “Maintenance Kits” to reduce time spent searching for parts required for maintenance activities. * Provide technical support to Maintenance Planners in prioritizing maintenance work orders. * Suggest to Maintenance Planners the development of new maintenance plans and the review of existing ones based on inspection findings. * Comply with safety regulations inherent to the position and organization. * Comply with standards of organization and cleanliness. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed Technical Education in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical or Electro-technical fields. * NR 33 * NR 35 **Mechanic experience required.** **Additional Information** Benefits: * On-site cafeteria at R$ 2.61 per meal * Group Life Insurance * UNIMED Health Plan – (Company covers 100% of the monthly premium for the employee after three months of probation) * On-site medical clinic and occupational physician * Free parking for bicycles, motorcycles, and cars * Pharmacy partnership program * Company Profit-Sharing Program (PPR) – paid twice per year * Transportation Voucher * Leisure area and kiosk * Altona Library * AACA – Altona Athletic and Cultural Association (facilities reservation, sports gymnasium, soccer fields, and beach volleyball court) **Working Hours:** * General: Monday to Friday – 07:12 to 17:00 hrs Electro Aço Altona S.A. was founded on March 8, 1924, as a small foundry and mechanical repair workshop.
