Job description As a Data Scientist at Amaris, you will apply your analytical and technical expertise to transform data into actionable insights that support business decision-making. Your missions Analyze large volumes of data to extract relevant insights and support strategic decisions. Develop, test, and implement predictive models and machine learning algorithms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into data-driven solutions. Visualize and communicate results to both technical and non-technical audiences. Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the entire data lifecycle. Stay up-to-date with trends and advancements in data science and analytics. Document methodologies, processes, and results for future reference. Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to knowledge sharing. Your profile Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields. Experience in data science or data analysis roles. Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is mandatory. Strong hands-on experience with Python or R for data analysis and modeling. **Experience with data visualization tools (e.g.,** Tableau, Power BI). Solid understanding of statistical techniques and data mining methods. Willingness to work on-site in Rio de Janeiro at least three times per week. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
