Main Responsibilities: * Provide courteous and friendly service capable of handling a wide variety of customers. This includes answering questions, assisting with inquiries and complaints, and ensuring customers feel satisfied with the service received; * Operate the cash register quickly and efficiently, handling customer financial transactions such as product payments and change, ensuring all items are scanned. The Store Operator must possess mathematical calculation skills and be able to handle various payment methods, including cash, credit and debit cards, and meal vouchers; * Maintain shelves consistently well-stocked, organized, and clean, ensuring efficient merchandise restocking and keeping inventory up-to-date according to the store layout. The Store Operator must also monitor product expiration dates and remove expired items; * Identify product prices and update them in accordance with store promotions and discounts. The operator must also be prepared to handle price disputes when a customer challenges a product’s price; * Keep the store clean and organized, including the cash register area, counters, and shelves; maintain organized and clean stockrooms and storage areas to facilitate product access; * Be agile, proactive, and capable of working under pressure, calmly and professionally managing stressful situations such as cash register queues and dissatisfied customers. Additionally, strong communication and teamwork skills are essential, as the role involves direct interaction with other staff and customers; * Accurately process purchases, bills, and receivables; * Interact with customers, offering services and confirming whether they found everything they were looking for; * Perform other related tasks as required or requested by the immediate supervisor.
