Job Summary: Responsible for operating the cash register and serving customers, following protocols, scanning merchandise, and collecting payments, as well as performing cash withdrawals and end-of-shift closing. With multi-family management, the group operates 22 Rede TOP stores and 5 Preceiro Atacadista stores, totaling approximately 2\.000 employees, 300 checkouts, and 35\.000 m² of sales area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for operating the cash register and serving customers, adhering to established protocols, rules, regulations, and standards; scanning merchandise and collecting payments; performing cash withdrawals; conducting end-of-shift closing; and submitting daily transaction reports. ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED Ensure excellence in customer service at the cash register by following established protocols, rules, regulations, and standards; scanning/weighing products; consulting code tables; checking product labels, scale weight, and system matching; processing payments; for checks, verifying prior authorization and making appropriate notations on the back; for cash, verifying authenticity; Ensure cash withdrawals during the shift and proper closing, including counting cash, reconciling totals, signing documentation, and delivering it to the Supervisor and/or depositing into a safe or 24-hour cash box to prevent excessive exposed cash and ensure accountability; Contribute to achieving goals of ongoing campaigns by offering available products and services, identifying missing items, and reporting them to the Supervisor for action; Help reduce losses at the checkout area through preventive measures such as minimizing plastic bag waste, preventing theft, promptly returning perishables, etc.; Maintain the workstation and equipment in perfect working and clean condition; request plastic bags, receipt rolls, and other supplies as needed; Assist in sorting goods for home delivery when required, ensuring optimal packaging; Support related tasks as needed, such as shelf stocking, checkout stand restocking, pricing and expiry date verification of merchandise, gift packaging, etc.; Requirements **Academic Qualification:** Completed elementary education **Additional Information:** 100% in-person position **Work Location:** Av.
