As an intern in the Tooling Department at ZEN S.A., you will work in Tooling Planning and Control, gaining exposure to diverse mechanical manufacturing processes and contributing to excellence in manufacturing. You will contribute to projects aimed at reducing tool inventory and improving turnover and control of forming, machining, and assembly tools. You will collaborate with and observe a highly qualified technical team within the Tooling Department and on joint engineering projects, applying and enhancing academic knowledge. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Participation in Tooling Planning and Control, supporting evaluation of tool production for turnover and new projects. * Definition and learning of tool manufacturing processes including cutting, turning and milling (conventional and CNC), grinding, electrical discharge machining (EDM), and polishing. Process registration and definition of manufacturing routings in the system, interfacing with suppliers of heat treatment for tool steels and PVD hard metal coatings. * Participation in manufacturing process improvements, including microstructure analysis of materials and surface finish analysis of machining and EDM processes. * Inventory counts and activities to ensure tool inventory accuracy. * Contact with and visits to heat treatment and PVD hard metal coating suppliers for tools. * Support routine activities of Tooling Planning and Control. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related fields; * Availability for a minimum of 6 hours per day of in-person internship in Brusque \- SC; * Minimum availability for a 1-year internship; **Additional Information** Monthly internship stipend of R$1\.800,00 for 30 hours; Meals provided at the company; Transportation allowance; Outpatient medical care and reimbursement for medications; Dental plan; Housing assistance for candidates from other cities; Participation in training and development programs; Opportunities for career growth and advancement.
