Job Summary: We are seeking an intern to work in Heat Treatment, supporting production processes and contributing to continuous improvement within a century-old industrial company. Key Highlights: 1. Direct interaction with experienced professionals and hands-on learning We seek an intern to work in the Heat Treatment area, focusing on monitoring production processes, performance analysis, and supporting continuous improvement routines. This person will have the opportunity to work directly with production processes, developing a practical shop-floor perspective, participating in process analysis, and contributing to initiatives aimed at increasing productivity, quality, standardization, and safety. **Responsibilities and Duties** Monitor heat treatment furnace batch processing, identifying improvement opportunities; Support monitoring of process parameters and identification of deviations; Assist in conducting process tests and validations; Support the process analyst in updating documents (SOPs, Technical Instructions, and safety standards); Participate in continuous improvement studies, such as chronometric analysis and flow analysis; Support identification and resolution of internal customer non-conformities; Assist in data collection and analysis for process indicators; Contribute improvement suggestions to increase productivity, quality, and reduce waste; **Requirements and Qualifications** Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Materials, Metallurgical, Mechanical, Production, or related fields); Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel); Availability for in-person internship; Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with quality tools (5S, PDCA, Ishikawa, etc.); Interest in continuous improvement / Lean Manufacturing; Expected Skills: Organization and attention to detail; Proactivity and willingness to learn; Good communication and ability to work effectively in teams; Analytical mindset and interest in data and processes; Sense of responsibility and discipline in routine tasks. **Additional Information** Opportunity to work in a century-old, well-established industrial company with strong expertise in its segment. Electro Aço Altona S.A. was founded on March 8, 1924, as a small foundry and mechanical repair workshop. It was initially named Auerbach \& Werner, combining the names of its German-origin owners: engineer Paul Werner and blacksmith Ernst Auerbach.
