About the role: Alcoa is seeking a Refinery Operator A to join our team at the Poços de Caldas/MG facility, responsible for performing basic operations in washer areas, digestion (with support/guidance), operating Level 1 reactors (start/stop/open/close dampers/inspection), and operating yellow bucket bath filling stations. Key responsibilities include: * Operating valves; operating front-end loader if holding CNH Category B driver’s license; * Using hoses for area washing; using hand tools such as jackhammers and electric/pneumatic impact tools; * Cleaning gutters and floors; paddle inversion; sample collection; * Pump replacement operations; Kelly filter washing operations; * Maintenance of refinery heaters; * Milling operations, startup, and troubleshooting; * Cleaning and replacing sieve filters.
