Mining experience is a plus **Geology Assistant** **Summary:** Perform support activities for mining and mineral processing operations. **Responsibilities:** * Assist in mining operations, supporting work fronts; * Conduct sampling of rocks, soils, and geological materials; * Support drilling and trenching operations; * Collect, identify, record, and control geological samples; * Verify and manage inventory of materials and supplies; * Perform organizational and cleaning tasks in operational areas; * Transport materials and sample bags (up to 20 kg); * Perform other support activities for the Geology team. **Education:** * Completed Elementary School **Experience:** * Prior experience in operational or support activities in mining will be a plus. **Technical Competencies:** * Workplace safety * Use of hand tools and support equipment **Behavioral Competencies:** * Attention to detail and discipline * Commitment * Teamwork Join our team: visit our job openings page Grupo Sollo and apply!
