Description

Job Summary: The professional will be responsible for fiber optic cable splicing, network maintenance, equipment installation and configuration, handling service outages and projects, as well as technical documentation and on-call duty rotation. Key Highlights: 1. Perform fiber optic cable splicing and network infrastructure work 2. Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on networks and equipment 3. Participate in the development and implementation of installation projects **Job Description:** ---------------------- Achieve goals and KPIs under one's responsibility; perform fiber optic cable splicing and network infrastructure work; prepare cables for splice execution; remove equipment from customers' premises; identify faults in networks and equipment; carry out preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure continuous operation of the fiber optic network; align fibers, cables, and optical distribution boxes; respond to fiber optic cable failures; activate and maintain customer services; install, configure, and maintain equipment; perform equipment relocations when necessary; support the development and implementation of installation projects; prepare technical documentation for all activities; perform work at heights using appropriate PPE and collective protective measures (CPM); operate company vehicles with due care; perform preventive and corrective maintenance on low-voltage DC and AC electrical systems, air conditioning systems, data transmission systems, and lightning protection systems (LPS); diagnose faults; plan, assess, and execute installations enabling communications; participate in the implementation of new projects; configure equipment; handle and operate low-voltage generators; participate in on-call duty rotation, responding to calls and performing required tasks to ensure network functionality; collect information to support network inventory and documentation; manage movement of materials, assets (active or passive), and register and inventory them at deployment sites; implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of area activities; uphold conduct in accordance with Compliance standards, Code of Ethics, and other company policies; travel when necessary; serve internal and external stakeholders; perform other duties relevant to the area as required. **Mandatory Requirements:** ------------------------------ Completed high school education Driver's License Category B **Employment Type:** -------------------------- CLT (Consolidated Labor Laws) **PwD (Persons with Disabilities):** -------- YES **Benefits:** --------------- Commission Meal allowance / Food voucher Starbem – Health and Well-being Telemedicine Service Day off Group life insurance Corporate University – Mhnet Ensina Internet discount after probation period Transportation voucher Wellhub (Gympass) **Work Location:** ---------------------- BENTO GONCALVES/RS
