Customer interface and driver leadership **Job Mission:** Issuance of transportation documents, development of route plans, yard control, partner acquisition, support in fleet management and maintenance, driver management, pickup scheduling, support in driver service and assistance, cost analysis and control. **Job Description:** Minimum Requirements * Completed Bachelor's degree Desirable Requirements * Logistics Technologist degree Competencies and Skills: * Pro\-active attitude: demonstrate initiative, punctuality, and commitment to the company and work team; * Teamwork: support drivers, provide feedback to operations and superiors; * Customer service: ensure goods are loaded and picked up within agreed deadlines; * Motivational: maintain positive attitudes, share new ideas and improvement suggestions, be participative and proactive; * Systemic vision: understand the operation as a whole, know distribution processes, and recognize how one's activities impact overall company results; * Results-oriented: possess the ability and willingness to achieve company-defined goals—such as minimizing time and resources—while adhering to company ethics and values. **Core Responsibilities** * Ensure 100% execution of delivery and pickup operations as previously planned; monitor vehicles and support drivers throughout operations. * Keep driver and vehicle registration up to date with the insurance provider for all vehicles and drivers serving Maglog. * Remain consistently motivated, provide and receive regular feedback from the work team, and assist operations in meeting delivery and pickup deadlines. * Enhance operational accuracy, analyze delivery and pickup costs, optimize vehicle utilization, and meet customers’ deadlines and agreed terms. * Exercise leadership over drivers, ensure all operational steps are properly executed, prevent goods from returning to the company, and avoid missed pickups. **Functions** * Prepare, analyze, and present monthly performance indicator reports to all transportation clients once per month. * Execute and monitor route planning to optimize vehicle usage, mileage, fuel consumption, delivery timelines, costs, and service efficiency for deliveries and scheduled appointments. * Perform yard control, track pickup punctuality, loading, and scheduled appointments. * Carry out deliveries via the SSW application, support and train drivers on using the SSW application for delivery confirmations. * Support and lead adherence to route and loading plans. * Configure tax parameters for CT-e issuance, register rate tables and routes in the TMS system. * Ensure timely execution of waybill issuance, transport bills of lading, cargo manifests, driver releases, vehicle priority analysis and scheduling, and priority fulfillment as planned. * Record completed deliveries in the SSW system, log occurrence records, and reschedule redeliveries and returns; ensure new issuances are performed and plan new destinations. * Manage fleet control, oversee and authorize fleet and affiliate refueling, monitor and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance, record vehicle refueling in the SSW system, log completed maintenance activities, and review daily checklist entries. * Prospect and negotiate contracts with new transportation partners to expand the available vehicle database (inventory) for fulfilling distribution planning demands. * Control, analyze, and record daily freight, toll, and refueling expenses to feed the system-based settlement process for partner payments. * Request monitoring, tracking check\-lists, and shipment planning while complying with risk management plan rules. * Interface with the risk manager. * Conduct background checks on new drivers and vehicles with the insurance provider. * Register vehicles, owners, and drivers in the SSW system. * Contact automotive suppliers, negotiate pricing and payment terms, schedule vehicle washing and lubrication, and maintain records of preventive and corrective maintenance. * Extract and analyze general transportation department reports to feed sector KPIs and indicators for management support. * Integrate and train new drivers and affiliates on operational procedures for transportation operations. * Support the customer service department in resolving incidents, scheduling, and interfacing with customers to plan demand.
