Leadership and teamwork Position: Construction Site Supervisor **Job Description:** The Construction Site Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and supervising civil construction-related activities, ensuring compliance with project schedules, quality standards, and on-site safety. **Responsibilities:** * Work under the direct guidance of the Site Supervisor and/or Contract Coordinator, directly overseeing tasks performed by installers at construction sites. * Report hierarchically to the Site Supervisor assigned to the project or to the Contract Coordinator, as defined by the organizational structure. * Fully understand daily assembly targets as well as key milestone dates in the project schedule. * Execute tasks according to the weekly plan, based on the Last Planner System. * Strive to ensure completion of planned tasks, immediately reporting any deviations to the Supervisor. * Identify, record, and report causes for failure to complete planned tasks, including constraints, planning deficiencies, and field interferences. * Participate in construction planning meetings, providing technical-operational feedback from the field. * Participate in Lean Construction meetings, understanding actions, constraints, and work package allocations. * Support supervision of work fronts, helping prevent team idleness during working hours. * Consult the Supervisor or Contract Coordinator before executing additional tasks that involve design changes or extra costs. * Validate, together with the Supervisor, potential rework items identified during task execution. * Be responsible for verifying third-party material deliveries alongside installers, arranging digitalization of invoices and their submission to procurement via designated channels. * Identify recurring operational failures and suggest process and product improvements using tools such as 5 Whys, Lean’s 7 Wastes, and Pareto Analysis. **Requirements:** * Prior experience in civil construction * Knowledge of construction project management * Leadership and teamwork skills * Problem-solving ability * Strong communication and organizational skills
