Job Summary: The professional will provide nursing care to clinical and surgical patients under supervision, focusing on quality and safety of care, and contributing to the patient's therapeutic plan. Contribution to the patient's therapeutic plan Provide nursing care to patients across various units of the Institution, both clinical and surgical, under the supervision of the Unit Nurse, Continuing Education Supervisor, and Nursing Supervisor, with emphasis on quality and safety of care, as well as contributing to the implementation of the patient's therapeutic plan. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Provide daily nursing care to patients across various institutional units under the supervision of the area-responsible nurse, in both clinical and administrative practice; * Perform daily procedures including anamnesis, physical examination, nursing diagnosis, prescription, and evolution of nursing care\- SAE; * Ensure daily individualized and effective care for patients in the units; * Collaborate with the unit's senior nurse and medical team whenever appropriate, especially for complex or critically ill patients, by setting up monitors, preparing vasoactive drugs, monitoring vital parameters, urinary output, fluid and electrolyte balance, and other relevant indicators; * Accompany the unit's senior nurse during specific medical procedures performed in the unit—such as intubation, catheter and drain insertion—by providing necessary materials, equipment, and physician gowning to ensure proper execution; * Assist in training newly hired staff under the supervision of Continuing Education, conveying established norms, routines, procedures, and facility orientation; * Participate in annual scheduled activities, including theoretical classes, interactive sessions, realistic simulations, seminars, and course completion projects; * Support the development of quality, cost, and productivity indicators for the assigned department on a monthly basis; * Attend periodic meetings with Nursing Supervision, Coordination, and Division to support decision-making and information sharing, aiming to guarantee high-quality nursing care and continuous learning; * Perform other duties as required or at the discretion of management. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed undergraduate degree in Nursing; * Postgraduate studies preferred; * Active COREN registration; * Proficiency in basic computer use and Microsoft Office suite. **Additional Information** Availability to work on a 12x36 shift schedule from 08:00 to 20:00 **SPDM** \- Paulista Association for the Development of Medicine is a non-profit civil association of philanthropic nature, recognized as being of federal, state, and municipal public utility—respectively by Decrees No. 57\.925, dated 03/04/1966; No. 40\.103, dated 05/17/1962; and No. 8\.911, dated 07/30/1970\. A reference center in neurosurgery, vascular surgery, orthopedics, and oncology, the Hospital provides completely free care—**100% SUS**. On February 23, 1991, the Mogi das Cruzes Specialty Outpatient Clinic and Emergency Department was renamed the Luzia de Pinho Melo Clinical Hospital on August 27, 1991, in honor of the mother of former mayor Father Melo. Since 2004, the Luzia de Pinho Melo Clinical Hospital has been managed by the Paulista Association for the Development of Medicine (SPDM), under a management agreement with the State Secretariat of Health.
