Programs or adjusts machine programs to perform cuts and machining operations. Prepares the machine by correctly securing workpieces and tools. Monitors the machining process, verifying part dimensions and quality. Makes adjustments and corrections during production as needed. Performs measurements using precision instruments such as calipers and micrometers. Maintains organization and cleanliness of the machine and workplace. Previous experience as a CNC Milling Machine Operator, CNC Programmer, Machining Technician, or Milling Specialist may indicate suitability for some activities associated with this position. High school diploma required.
