The ideal candidate must demonstrate proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, as well as possess knowledge of safety and quality standards applicable to welding.

Operate wire/cable extrusion machine according to production orders. Perform machine setup: zone temperatures, screw speed, traction, pressure, die head, die, and other production parameters. Monitor the production process and make necessary adjustments during extrusion. Monitor parameters such as temperature, speed, outer diameter, insulation thickness, visual finish, and material adhesion. Guide the wire/conductor through the extrusion line, adjusting guides, pulleys, haul-off units, cooling systems, and winding equipment. Feed raw materials into the machine, including PVC, pigments, plastic compounds, and other inputs as specified in production orders. Replace spools, reels, dies, and other components required for product/gauge changes. Identify and correct operational failures, such as diameter variation, insulation defects, bubbles, material burning, misalignment, or material excess/deficiency. Conduct visual and dimensional inspection of produced wire/cable, verifying finish, color, measurements, and compliance with defined standards. Record production data, losses, scrap, downtime, and adjustments made during the shift. Follow safety, quality, and environmental regulations. Assist in cleaning and organizing the machine and production area. Support maintenance activities during corrective and preventive shutdowns, when required.
