MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT

Description

Job Summary: Assist in various building maintenance activities, including installation, conservation, repairs, and masonry, carpentry, and painting services. Key Highlights: 1. Experience in maintenance of hydraulic and sanitary systems 2. Performance of electrical, mechanical, carpentry, and masonry services 3. Work conducted in accordance with safety and quality standards Assist maintenance foremen, electricians, mechanics, and technicians in the following activities: * Install and maintain high- or low-pressure piping systems; * Mark locations for pipes, fittings, and wall/floor openings using marking instruments to guide installation of the designed system; * Excavate trenches in soil, guided by key reference points and using manual or mechanical tools; * Install sanitary fixtures, sewage conduits, plumbing fixtures, and other system components; * Perform maintenance on installations by replacing or repairing components such as pipes, valves, fittings, appliances, insulating coatings, and others; * Unclog sewage lines and perform preventive maintenance on main sewage networks, inspection chambers, and stormwater drainage systems, using specific techniques; * Prepare quantitative estimates of parts required to execute the service, enabling procurement orders; * Perform electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, carpentry, and masonry maintenance tasks, including replacement, swapping, cleaning, repair, and installation of parts, components, and equipment; * Maintain glass and façades, clean premises and accessories; organize and prepare the worksite; * Construct foundations and masonry structures, apply finishes and screeds; Perform the following tasks: * Carpentry; * Metalwork; * Painting; * Plastering; * Waterproofing; Carry out all activities related to building maintenance; Work in compliance with safety, hygiene, quality, and environmental protection standards. Provide occasional assistance to any maintenance department requiring emergency team support.
