Job Summary: A professional responsible for planning, preparing, and conducting national and international audits, ensuring compliance with standards and the quality of information for certification. Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards **Responsibilities** * Contribute to or plan national and/or international audits—including second-party audits (audits of clients’ customers or suppliers) and third-party audits (external audits of clients)—whether accredited or non-accredited; perform sampling of locations and/or interviews; assist in or define the audit plan and activity schedule; send, request review and approval from the client, and implement requested changes—ensuring accuracy of scope and required Standards. * Prepare national or international audits by consulting stakeholders, researching issues at sites to be audited, listing and/or requesting key document lists for preliminary verification when necessary—to optimize audit time and quality. * Conduct national or international audits (per ISO 17065 Clause 5.1.3.f), either remotely or on-site, following the Audit Plan, verifying and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements within the scope based on collected evidence, ensuring impartiality, independence, and objectivity, and guaranteeing adherence to relevant procedures and standards. * Prepare and submit audit reports and checklists to the certification coordination or management team for review and approval, based on fieldwork activities, notes, and collected evidence; implement adjustments identified during report review—ensuring information quality for certification purposes. * Prepare and submit non-conformity reports to the client for development of action plans and implementation of corrective actions; analyze, request modifications, and approve upon receipt. * Account for travel expenses by entering information via the company application, per company policies. * Keep personal and professional records updated with the Human Resources department—including CV/resume, course certificates, audit logs, international visas, passport, driver’s license, and vaccinations. * Participate in meetings, trainings, and other departmental/company activities as required. * Comply with internal health and safety regulations and those of clients. * Identify deviations, risks, and/or opportunities in daily work and communicate them to responsible parties for defining appropriate actions per case and aligning with the team. * Maintain and ensure confidentiality and freedom from conflicts of interest. * Provide information to professionals regarding questions about completed work. * Perform additional duties of similar nature and complexity as established for this position, respecting defined limits of authority, according to departmental needs and/or immediate supervisor’s instructions. **Technical Knowledge** **Required:** * Not applicable **Recommended:** * ISO 9001 Lead Auditor * English / Spanish **Education/Qualifications:** **Required:** Bachelor’s degree completed in agricultural sciences or food science vDhlMyRaYq
