Job Summary: The Cinema Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining cinematic projection equipment, image and sound systems, and assisting in event production. Key Highlights: 1. Operate cinematic projection equipment and image and sound systems. 2. Monitor and maintain lighting, audio, and video equipment. 3. Assist in the setup and teardown of internal and external events. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** Job Duties: The Cinema Operator will be responsible for: Operating cinematic projection equipment (analog and digital) and image and sound production systems; Verifying the functionality of projection equipment prior to each screening; Assembling, disassembling, inspecting, preparing, and repairing films and projection accessories; Projecting films and controlling screening quality; Operating devices such as VCRs, Blu\-ray players, and video walls (large screens); Operating 16mm, 35mm, Super 8, DCP, and other projectors; Installing and operating sound systems in cinema auditoriums or other projection venues; Preparing technical reports on equipment and venues under their responsibility before and after events; Supervising the entry and exit of third-party equipment; Inspecting and reporting the physical condition and quality of materials to be screened; Monitoring and ensuring the condition, maintenance, care, and preservation of lighting, audio, and video equipment; Installing and performing periodic maintenance on audio and video cables for simultaneous transmissions; Recording events (audio/video) and assisting in the setup and teardown of internal and external events; Advising productions on proper equipment usage and clarifying technical questions. **REQUIREMENTS:** Requirements: Education: Completed high school; Experience: Professional registration with the Regional Labor Office (DRT) as a video and analog/digital cinema equipment operator OR minimum 2 years’ experience in analog and digital projection, verified by technical qualification certificate(s) and work record book entry(s); Demonstrated technical knowledge to operate analog and digital projection equipment, including audio, video, and film; Computer literacy, verified by a recognized course certificate or letter of recommendation; Preferred Qualifications: Certificates from industry-recognized courses or submission of a portfolio of previous work; Interest in staying updated with emerging technologies in the cinematic industry.
