Job Summary: The Lighting Technician will be responsible for supervising setups and teardowns, managing maintenance of lighting equipment and control booths, and preparing lighting for theater productions. Guidance and clarification of doubts regarding equipment **LIGHTING TECHNICIAN** **Job Description:** Job Responsibilities: The Lighting Technician will be responsible for: Supervising lighting setup and teardown performed by productions in theaters and other event venues; Managing maintenance and preservation of lighting equipment and control booths in theaters; Preparing lighting for productions; Supervising the entry and exit of rented lighting equipment for events held at venues; Preparing inspection reports for equipment and venues before and after events; Creating inventory control spreadsheets; Monitoring equipment maintenance records and requesting periodic inspections; Keeping the supplier list updated (contacts of maintenance professionals and companies); Guiding productions on correct usage of equipment and venues; Clarifying productions' questions about equipment and venues under their responsibility. **Requirements:** Requirements: Education: Completed high school; Experience: Minimum of 2 years in the field; Technical knowledge of theater lighting equipment (spotlights and computerized lighting consoles); Practical experience in lighting setup and teardown; Intermediate proficiency in spreadsheet software, text editors, video tools, and presentation software; Strong oral and written communication skills; Teamwork and public service competencies.
