Job Summary: Professional responsible for preparing technical geological reports and assessments, conducting geotechnical mapping, and supervising field investigations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Prepare technical geological-geotechnical reports and assessments. 2. Create geological-geotechnical mapping for geomechanical models. 3. Guide and supervise field investigation and drilling services. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Prepare technical geological-geotechnical reports and assessments, attesting to the geological and geomechanical conditions of the project site, and recommending, if necessary, improvements and safety measures for the design; * Conduct geological-geotechnical mapping of project influence areas for defining geomechanical models and design criteria, performing the following activities: * Record major geological features for risk assessment; * Detailed graphical mapping of excavation-exposed surfaces, highlighting main features observed and key characteristics; * Careful inspection of excavated strata to assess geomechanical conditions of rock masses and characteristics of discontinuities; * Classification of the bedrock using classification systems to refine the geomechanical zoning model and determine the rock mass class; * Photographic documentation of foundations, slopes, and detailed regions where key features occur; * Guide and supervise drilling/testing investigation services; describe samples/cores obtained to identify different soil and rock types, as well as their mineralogical, structural, mechanical strength, and permeability characteristics; * Provide on-site technical supervision of drilling/testing operations to ensure compliance with project technical specifications, current Brazilian standards, and planned testing or sampling objectives; * Supervise the collection of disturbed and undisturbed samples, advising on proper collection procedures to enable subsequent laboratory testing; * Investigate and map soil and rock borrow areas, indicating material quality, geometry, and volume of the deposit to obtain construction aggregates for the project; * Perform geological-geotechnical mapping, including geological-geotechnical, structural, and geomorphological maps; **REQUIREMENTS:** * Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Geological Engineering; * Minimum 5 years’ experience in engineering geology, as Technical Support for Construction (ATO); * Valid driver’s license (Class B); * Active CNPJ
