Guarantee of biosafety and quality control The **biomedical scientist** plays an essential role in the hospital environment, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis, appropriate treatment, and disease prevention. **Salary**: R$ 2\.735,78 **Total compensation**: R$ 3\.566,57 **Work schedule**: 36 hours per week **Work mode**: On-site **Responsibilities and duties** * Perform and supervise tests across multiple areas, including clinical biochemistry, hematology, microbiology, immunology, parasitology, and cytology, analyzing patients' biological samples; * Collect blood and other bodily fluids accurately and in strict adherence to rigorous protocols, ensuring sample quality; * Monitor and implement quality control practices in laboratory processes, including conducting internal tests and participating in external quality assurance programs; * Analyze, validate, and release laboratory test results to physicians, ensuring information is accurate and clinically relevant for diagnosis, while safeguarding information and patient safety; * Define and monitor preventive maintenance and calibration schedules, ensuring equipment operates correctly during daily use, updating equipment calibration and maintenance records to comply with technical standards and regulations; * Ensure all biosafety protocols are followed, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and document all inspections, trainings, and audits conducted; * Assist in administrative organization and management of the laboratory, including document organization and preparation of technical reports, ensuring all documents and reports are accurate, complete, and well-organized before finalization or archiving; * Perform other duties inherent to the position. **Requirements and qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Biomedicine; * Valid registration with the regulatory council; * Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office; * Relevant work experience. **Additional information** * Day off; * SESC benefits.
